Around 0550 hrs on 01st October 2023, a fire broke out in the drug store and laboratory building of Thabalagamuwa Divisional Hospital. Troops of 15 SLLI were able to assist in mitigating the fire that broke out in the hospital drug store building with the support of police, fire fighting brigade and civilians in the area.

Thereafter suspected person with illegal drugs were handed over to the Thabalagamuwa Police Station for further investigations.
