With the direction of Commander 243 Infantry Brigade Brigadier KMUP Kalupahana USP psc a well-cleaning programme was conducted on 11 December 2025 from 0730 hrs to 1500hrs with the participation of 01 x 10 troops from 243 Infantry Brigade. During the programme troops cleaned 03 x public wells located at the Chiritchenthuruarea (GR 038794) had been extensively used by the local community during the recent adverse weather conditions and the cleaning effort was carried out to ensure the continued availability of safe drinking water for affected residents.
