Since the adverse weather circumstances have threatened the livelihood of civilians in central highlands, the vehicular movements were blocked due to another slight earth slip at Bathgoda in Bearagala area along Haputale - Colombo main road during the evening hours on 07 November 2023. This was the consecutive third instance the riad was blocked since 05 November 2023.

The adverse weather condition that ruled the area during evening hours on 05 November 2023, caused a slither earth slip and blocked the traffic movements of the Haputale – Welimada main road, at Walgahawela Junction.
