On the request of hospital authorities, troops of the 11 Infantry Division of Security Force (Central) supported the smooth conduct of emergency services in order to maintain essential skeletal health services at Peradeniya Teaching Hospital, Kandy Hospital and Nuwara Eliya District Hospitalල on Monday 9 January 2023 after a lightening strike of minor employees affected those hospitals.

Upon the conceptual direction by Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, troops around the island organized many donation programs to uplift the standards of education received by the children from low-income families. Accordingly, with the supervision of Commander Security Force (Central), troops under command to the field formation organized another donation program to distribute stationery packs for 50 school children in Southam Tamil Vidyalaya, Demodara - Badulla District.
