SCHOOL CHILDREN IN MATHALAPITIYA RECEIVE STATIONERY PACKS

Troops of 11 Infantry Division under Security Force (Central), coordinated a school stationery pack donation program in Mathalapitiya Vidyalaya, Matale on 08 May 2023. The program was coordinated on the directions of General Officer Commanding 11 Infantry Division Major General Rohitha Aluviahare RWP RSP USP ndu psc.

The donation program which was generously sponsored by Mr Chanuka Wijayakoon, the Managing Director of Golden Crown Hotel and his spouse, was coordinated by Rev. Doctor Handaganawe Vimaladarma Thero, the Principal of Sri Sumanathissa Damma School. Students from low-income families were benefitted under the donation program.

Commander 111 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Zonal Education Director – Matale, the Principal and school staff, troops and parents witnessed the program.
