Security Force Headquarters (Central) in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) based in Colombo coordinated a two-days workshop to widen knowledge of Officers on latest developments of International Humanitarian Law and the ICRC role. The workshop was held in the premises of Headquarters, participated a number of 38 Officers that included Brigade Commanders, Senior Staff Officers and Battalion Commanders of Security Force (Central), on 16th and 17th November 2022.

Troops of 12 Infantry Division under Security Force (Central) coordinated a dry ration packs distribution event to facilitate needy families in Thissamaharamaya area. A number of 65 low-income families were benefitted and donated with dry ration packs during in the programme which was held at the office of Divisional secretariat Thissamaharamaya on 06 November 2022.
