Hundreds of children from Haputale area gathered to celebrate the World Childrens' Day, and shared happiness and joy of the day during the special event organized by the Divisional Secretariat - Haputale on 31 October 2023. The childrens' event was co-organized with Child Protection Authority, and on the invitation of divisional secretariat, Brigadier A M A Abeysinghe RWP RSP USP psc - Brigadier General Staff of Security Force Headquarters Central graced the event as Chief Guest.
The children who were relishing the joy of the day, listened to a valuable lecture on 'Self-development and Motivation', delivered by the chief guest. At the end of the programme, the organizers distributed gift packs for the children.
