The newly appointed Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General S R B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc undertakes his formal visit to the Directorate of Provost on 12 June 2023. Provost Marshal Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc warmly welcomed Major General S R B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc and conducted a detailed briefing on the Role and functions of the Directorate. Colonel Adjutant General Branch, Colonel Provost and all Staff Officers of the Directorate of Provost participated in the event. The event terminated with a group photograph to mark the visit.

On his arrival the Commanding Officer of 5 SLCMP, Major Manoj Suddagala warmly welcomed the Col Comdt at main entrance then he was accorded with a guard turnout and followed by sapling of a tree, Group photographs, troops address at the Lecture hall and finally departed symbolically signing the visitor’s book.

Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police organized a series of religious activities in parallel to Poson full-moon poya day, under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant and the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army Major General ACA De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc and President of Seva Vanitha Branch Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Mrs. Priyanthika De Zoysa. These ritual Buddhist activities were prominent at the Buddhist place of the worship, which was at the Regimental Centre and all Units, under the supervision of the Centre Commandant, Commandant of School of Military Police and all the Commanding Officers with the collaboration of under command troops, school students and native villagers.
