This exceptional athlete, representing the 5th Regiment of the SLCMP, showcased unparalleled dedication, resilience, and discipline, culminating in a stellar performance in the Javelin Throw F44 Category on 2 September 2024.

The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) shooters secured the championship in the Service Regiment category at the Inter Regiment Combat Shooting Competition - 2024. This esteemed competition, organized by the Army Small Arms Association (ASAA) in collaboration with the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) at Diyatalawa, took place from 16 August to 25 August 2024. A total of 35 teams representing 23 regiments of the Sri Lanka Army participated in the event, competing in both open and novice categories. The annual event saw the participation of over 350 shooters, aiming to enhance the standards of rifle shooting to be on par with international levels.
