Parallel to the Regimental day in view of presenting 71 years of the proud history (from 1949 to 2021) of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) to the present and future members of the Sri Lanka army, newly constructed Provost Museum conceptualized by the Colonel commandant SLCMP has declared open by the Major General Ranjan Premalal USP Commander Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant SLCMP on 22 April 2021 at the Regimental Centre - Polhengoda.

Commemoration ceremony of Fallen War Heroes parallel to the 31st Regimental Corps Day of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) was held at 2 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Girithale on 19 March 2021. The event was organized by the 2 SLCMP under the patronage of Commander Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General Ranjan Premalal USP. NOKs of fallen war heroes were invited by the regimental Centre in which several NOKs with their families participated to the event. The ceremony commenced in front of the War Heroes’ Monument at 2 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police premises from 1600 hrs with the multi religious blessings. Floral tributes were paid for the fallen war heroes for their supreme sacrifices for the motherland. Remembrance ceremony concluded with the bugle tributes for the fallen war heroes in the sunset. Together with Colonel Commandant, Provost Marshal Brigadier Anil Illangakoon, Centre Commandant Colonel Lakshman Bamunusinghe, Senior Officers, Officers, Regimental Sergeant Majors, few Senior Non – Commissioned Officers & Non – Commissioned Officers also participated to the event

The handing over ceremony of newly constructed house to a differently abled soldier S/678929 L/Cpl Herath HJS of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) was held on 18th February 2021 at Maho, under the patronage of the Commander Logistics Command & Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General LPR Premalal USP. The house was constructed under the theme of “Complete Housing Project” conceptualized by the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, upon financial sponsorship provided by the Sri Lanka Army and 1st Regiment Sri Lanka Crops of Military Police, constructions were carried out by the troops of 1st Regiment SLCMP. This endeavor reached a great success with the guidance and supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 1st Regiment SLCMP, Lt Col RMN Rathnayaka USP Lsc. Concomitantly essential household equipment, electrical fittings and furniture were also furnishing to the house with the intention of offering a comfortable livelihood to residents. Provost Marshal, Centre Commandant, Senior Officers of the Military Police, family members of the beneficiary and few residents of the area were present at the ceremony.

Newly constructed Holiday Bungalow for Other Ranks of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) was declared open by the Commander Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General Ranjan Premalal USP on 27 January 2021 with the invitation of the Commanding Officer Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Colonel Ravindra Abeysinghe. The brainchild behind the construction was the Colonel Commandant, together with the Commanding Officer - SIU and Senior Officers of SLCMP. The Bungalow was built using locally arranged resources by the troops of SIU

Felicitation Ceremony for newly appointed Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) Major General IOW Madola was held at Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) with the invitation of Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Major General LPR Premalal USP. In conformity with military traditions DCOS was accorded with a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour by the SLCMP troops. Further, group photograph, Tree planting and officers’ tea were also lined in the days programme. Day’s proceedings concluded with Officers address. Several Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks including Regimental Sergeant Majors were attended to the event

The newly constructed Other Ranks (ORs) holiday bungalow "Thuru Arana" and Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) quarter of 3rd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (3 SLCMP) were declared open by the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North Central) and Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Maj Gen LPR Premalal USP on the invitation of the Commanding Officer 3 SLCMP Lt Col Ajith Wijekoon.
