Felicitation Ceremony for newly appointed Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) Major General IOW Madola was held at Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) with the invitation of Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Major General LPR Premalal USP. In conformity with military traditions DCOS was accorded with a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour by the SLCMP troops. Further, group photograph, Tree planting and officers’ tea were also lined in the days programme. Day’s proceedings concluded with Officers address. Several Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks including Regimental Sergeant Majors were attended to the event

The newly constructed Other Ranks (ORs) holiday bungalow "Thuru Arana" and Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) quarter of 3rd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (3 SLCMP) were declared open by the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North Central) and Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Maj Gen LPR Premalal USP on the invitation of the Commanding Officer 3 SLCMP Lt Col Ajith Wijekoon.
