Under the guidance of the Comd FMA (N/C) & Col Comdt SLCMP Maj Gen LPR Premalal USP and Commanding Officer of 3 SLCMP Lt Col MMMP Mahesh Kumara, a blood donation campaign was organized by the troops of 3 SLCMP on 21st April 2020 at the 3 SLCMP premises. In association with Blood Transfusion Centre of Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital gave their maximum support to make the event a success.

Taking over duties of newly promoted and newly appointed Col Comdt of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) Maj Gen LPR Premalal USP was held on 26 February 2020 at the SLCMP Regimental Headquarters premises, in Polhengoda. In conformity with military traditions Major General LPR Premalal USP was accorded with a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour presented by the troops of SLCMP upon his arrival at the venue. Senior members of the Regimental Council, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present to the occasion.

During the visit, the Colonel Commandant has been awarded a guard turnout, planting a sapling, group photograph and all ranks tea party. Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police , Brigadier AL Illangakoon also participated to the occasion.

Maj Gen DKGD Sirisena USP Commander of Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police paid a formal visit to 3 SLCMP in Galkulama prior to his Retirement on 26th January 2020. During the visit the Senior Officer was accorded a guard turnout and planted a tree sapling in the camp premises as a token his visit. After troops address all Officers and other Ranks joined All Ranks tea party with Colonel Commandant.
