THE PROVOST MARSHAL UNDERTAKES FORMAL VISIT TO THE SCHOOL OF MILITARY POLICE

The newly-appointed Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General ACA de Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc paid his maiden visit to the School of Military Police at Giritale on Tuesday, 25 April 2023.

The Provost Marshal was warmly welcomed by the Commandant SMP Colonel RMKAS Rajanayake after he was greeted with a Drive Pass at the entrance. Later, the Chief Guest addressed the troops and highlighted the importance of having multidimensional training, personal discipline of the soldiers and its impact on their personal life.

Commandant SMP presented a special memento to the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army, as a symbol of memory on his first formal visit to the School of Military Police after inauguration of his new office and the Provost Marshal made a camp visit to monitor the condition and infrastructure facilities available in the Camp premises and gave guidelines for further progressive improvements.

The Commandant SMP Colonel RMKAS Rajanayake, Senior Officers, Officers, Permanent Staff of School of Military Police were present at the occasion.
