The appreciation ceremony which was organized by Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police was held on 02 August 2023 at Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police under the direction of Provost Marshal of SL Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc to appreciate and pay tribute to the achievement of bravery member of military police, Warrant Officer 11 Dulan KAS who kept Sri Lankan flag high in Paris 2023 - Para Athletic World Championship at France.
S/678878 Warrant Officer 11 Dulan KAS - 5SLCMP won the Bronze Medal in Javelin Throw F44 Category during the Paris- 2023, Para Athletic World Championship on 13 July 2023 at France.
Warrant Officer 11 Dulan KAS participated for the event representing the National Para Olympic Committee. He is one of the excellent Para Athletic player in Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Army Para Games Committee and Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. 10 National Para Games players attended for the championship and out of those competitors, he was able to secure Bronze Medal throwing a spear for distance of 64.06 meters.
Warrant Officer 11 Dulan joined Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 5 December 2009 and he sustained injuries due to a traffic accident in 2016, while performing at Sri Lanka Army Athletic team. Due to the permanent low medical category, he joined with Sri Lanka Army Para- Athletic Team.
The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of Sri Lanka Corps of Military police attended to the appreciation Ceremony.
