Trooper Bandara K M - 8 SLAC of Dambagalla Monaragala, a disabled soldier who was injured at Kilinochchi, whilst fighting against the terrorism to safeguard the motherland received a new house donated by Army Sewa Vanitha Branch. Construction and supervision of the house was done by the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps.
The Talent Show organized by the Armour Ladies Club was staged at the Auditorium, Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Armoured Corps on the evening of 16 June 2012. This was a concept of the president Armour Ladies Club Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya who is also the President, Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB). The blessings, continues support and the encouragement of the President Armour Ladies Club, untiring effort of Armour Ladies who burnt the mid night oil and support extended by the Centre Commandant and his staff were the pillars of the great success of this event.

The 47th regimental council meeting of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps was held at Rock House camp, presided by Major General M P Peiris RWP RSP USP ndc psc; the Colonel Commandant of the Armoured Corps.
"Themiyuru Dehana"A musical extravaganza organized by the Armour Ladies club will be staged at the st Joseph's College Auditorium at 1900 hrs on 29 November 2014.
The President and eighteen other members of the Armour Ladies Club have visited the Abhimansala III at Pangolla on 26 January 2017. During the ward visit, the president, Mrs Shiromi Liyange and other Armour Ladies have distributed gifts amongst 37 war heroes those who were injured and disabled during the Humanitarian War. And also Armour Ladies Club provided special lunch and organized several entertainment events to give a joyful and happiest evening to all patients.
