ANOTHER WAR HERO RECEIVES A NEW HOUSE

Trooper Bandara K M - 8 SLAC of Dambagalla Monaragala, a disabled soldier who was injured at Kilinochchi, whilst fighting against the terrorism to safeguard the motherland received a new house donated by Army Sewa Vanitha Branch. Construction and supervision of the house was done by the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps.

Mrs Ashanthi De Silva , the secretary of Armour Ladies Club and Colonel N I De Silva RSP, Center Commandant Sri Lanka Armoured Corps handed over the newly built house on the auspicious time fallen on 12 September 2012. Many members of the Armour Ladies Club and Officers of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps along with representatives of local authorities graced the occasion.
