Troops of the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Army Service Corps of the 141 Infantry Brigade, in the aftermath of the afternoon 05 May 2023, emergency flood evacuation operations in Katuwapitiya and Sellakanda Grama Niladhari divisions in Negombo, took immediate steps to provide about 400 cooked meal packets among hundreds of flood-affected families.

With the intention of speeding up the island-wide National Dengue Prevention Campaign that is being implemented in present day, the Army troops serving under 141 Infantry Brigade of Security Forces (West) assisted in conducting another dengue prevention campaign from 27 April to 02 May 2023 covering several areas of Attanagalla, Biyagama, Kelaniya, Wattala, Ragama, Ja - Ela and Mahara MOH offices after many cases were reported.
