Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the newly-appointed Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna made his official visit to 52 Infantry Division on 05th and 06th February 2024. He was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc following the military traditions and customs.

Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander Security Forces - Jaffna made his maiden visit to Headquarters 51 Infantry Division at Kopay and its under command Brigades and Battalions on 31th January and 01st February 2024.

The Assistant Defence Advisor at the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Lieutenant Colonel Mandeep Singh Negi paid a courtesy visit to Security Forces Headquarters – Jaffna in a testament to the enduring traditions of diplomatic relations on 02nd February 2024.

Fallen war heroes of the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) during operations against LTTE terrorists from 1987 to 1990 in Sri Lanka were commemorated and their sacrifices were remembered at the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) Monument in Palaly in parallel to the celebration of Republic Day of India on 26th January 2024.

552 Infantry Brigade proudly celebrated its 17thAnniversary at the headquarters premises on 17 January 2024 amidst religious observances and in accordance with Military traditions on the direction of Brigadier DSS Radalage RWP RSP, the Brigade Commander 552 Infantry Brigade. Further marking the day's importance, a cricket tournament was also coordinated by the troops. During the celebration, School Bags were gifted to the children of 62 Non - Commissioned Officers and Civil Workersas token of appreciation.

The Amphibious Training Exercise “SEAGULL” kicked off at Northern Sea area, Palaitivu Island in Jaffna peninsula on 07 January and continued till 12 January 2024. The main exercise held on 11 January 2024 concluded the joint exercise, which was attended by troops of Army, Navy and Air Force.
