Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) Made Hismaidenofficialvisit to 52 Infantry Division and Its Under Command brigades and Battalions

Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the newly-appointed Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna made his official visit to 52 Infantry Division on 05th and 06th February 2024. He was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding, 52 Infantry Division, Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc following the military traditions and customs.

He was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding - 55 Infantry Division, Major General RKNC Jayawardene RSP ndc following the military traditions and customs.

552 Infantry Brigade Marks Its 17th Anniversary

552 Infantry Brigade proudly celebrated its 17thAnniversary at the headquarters premises on 17 January 2024 amidst religious observances and in accordance with Military traditions on the direction of Brigadier DSS Radalage RWP RSP, the Brigade Commander 552 Infantry Brigade. Further marking the day's importance, a cricket tournament was also coordinated by the troops. During the celebration, School Bags were gifted to the children of 62 Non - Commissioned Officers and Civil Workersas token of appreciation.

Exercise “Seagull” 2024 at Palaitivu Island of Northern Sea Area Culminated with Success

The Amphibious Training Exercise “SEAGULL” kicked off at Northern Sea area, Palaitivu Island in Jaffna peninsula on 07 January and continued till 12 January 2024. The main exercise held on 11 January 2024 concluded the joint exercise, which was attended by troops of Army, Navy and Air Force.
