Under the guidance of Major General RKNC Jayawardena RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 55 Infantry Division, with the supervision of Brigade Commander, 552 Infantry Brigade and the Commanding Officer, 2 Sri Lanka National Guard-troops organized a donation programme on 20thJanuary 2024. .
A total number of sixty children studying in Kili/Jayapuram Mixed School and the children of forty non-commissioned officers / civil workers received shoe pairs with the financial contribution of Mrs. MirinjaContia, Finland. The Brigade Commander of the 552 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier DSS Radalage RWP RSP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
