CAPTURE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS

According to an information received by 7 Military Intelligence Corps, Intelligent troops (attach to 222 Infantry Brigade) together with Kanthale police stations officials, a person was Apprehended with 60mg of “Methamphetamine” (Ice Drugs) at Ganthalawa on 25th December 2022.

NEWLY CONSTRUCTED RO PLANT WAS INAUGURATED IN THE 17TH SRI LANKA NATIONAL GUARD HEADQUARTERS

On parallel with the 27th Anniversary of the 17th Sri Lanka National Guard, as a solution to the drinking water problem of all Ranks of the Battalion and the civilians who are living in the Kumburupiddi area, therefore newly constructed worth sum of Rs 1,000,000/= (One Million Rupees) RO Plant (Water purifier plant) was inaugurated in the 17th Sri Lanka National Guard headquarters on 18th December 2022.

Suspected person with illegal drugs was handed over to the Kanthale police stations for further investigations.

According to an information received by 7 Military Intelligence Corps (MIC), Intelligent troops (attach to 221 Infantry Brigade) together with Trincomalee Police officials, a person was arrested with 7g of Kerala Cannabis at Trincomalee on 03 December 2022. Suspected person with illegal drugs was handed over to the Trincomalee Police Stations for further investigations.
