22 nd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Serunuwara under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East),area Organized a "Shramadhana Campaign" to clean in and around of Bhathiyagama Temple in Kanthale on 11 June 2013.

As per the concept of The Commander, Security Forces (East) Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG, Security Forces Headquarters (East) Conducted a Meeting with Leaders of Ulama sabah and Muslim Fedarations in the Eastern Provience headed by Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG, The Commander, Security Forces (East) on 15 June 2013 at Security Forces Headquarters (East) with the aim of building harmony amongst religious leaders in the Eastern Theatre and to discuss bilateral issues related to them. Positive sentiments were expressed by participants.

Security Forces Headquarters(East) conducted a Felicitation ceremony for newly appointed Head of the Amarapura Siri Saddhammawansa Maha Nikaya Ven. Ahungalle Siri Seelawisuddhi Nayaka Thero, who is the Chief Incumbent of the Trincomalee Gomarankadawala Rangiri Ulpatha Rajamaha vihara and its sectors and Sri Dharmawijaya Buddhist Centre at Uppuweli, Trincomalee on 17th June 2013 at Security Forces Headquarters(East) premises in Welikanda.

18th Sinha Regiment Located in Batticaloa Under 231 Bde of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Organized an Awareness Programme of Human Elephant Conflict to Minimize the Elephant threat For Villagers in Wellavali on 16 June 2013

24 th Sri Lanka National Guard Located at Sinhapura Under 233 Bde of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) area, Constructed an Elephant Fence at Sinhapura Village with the Assistance of Villagers in the area for the Protection of Villagers in the area and their Paddy Fields on 14 June 2013.

16th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Mahaoya under 631 Bde of Task Force 3 in Security Forces (East) Distributed a School items among 18 Students of Sepalika Preschool in Pokurugama and arranged the lunch for the Students who were Benefited on 19 June 2013.
