Conducted an Organized Awareness Programme on 25th Jan 2013 to Public for Using of Thunder Flash to avoid Reaching Elephants in to Villages. the event Organized by 632 BDE with the Directions of GOC – TF 3 with assistance of wild life Officers. 60 X Beneficiaries of Komari Gn Division were Participated in Pottuvil DS Division . human elephent Conflict is increased in Komari area and the Community of Komari GN Division has Requested to Organized Such an Event to Educate the Public.

A meeting presided by the Commander Security Forces (East) Major General Lal Perera was held on 28th January 2013 at Headquarters TF 3 - Akkaraipaththu to educate and aim to buildup greatly harmony , spiritual development and reconciliation with in the multi religious population in Ampara district. Ven: Ananda Thero of Buddangala Viharaya, Catholic, Islam and Hindu priest also were participated. It was decided to held this multi religious meeting in every month.

A meeting presided by the Commander Security Forces (East) Major General Lal Perera was held on 28th January 2013 at Singing Fish hotel - Batticalo. This meeting were held to build harmony , among their religious leaders and the positive sentiment express by participant leaders were very truth full .They requested similar meeting be held at least ones month to enhance spiritual development and reconciliation with in the multi religious population in Batticalo district.

A Donation of Dr. Anura Kumara (Sri Jayawardanapura University), construction of house of late Rizana Nafeek has started at 1045 hrs on 24 January 2013. In this occasion, GOC, 224 Bde Comd, familiars / kin of Rizana Nafeek and govt. officials were participated. Construction works are doing by 15 SLLI and 5 (V) SLA tps.

Troops of 632 BDE Organized an awareness Program on Uplifting The Living Condition for the Non Rehabs and the needy on 27 th Jan 2013 in Thirikkovil DS Division. The Commander of 632 BDE was the Chief guest and he educated them how to improve their Living Condition. This event was held at Thambiluvil Central College in Tirukkovil.

The members of the 12 SLNG visited 30 elders of "Sri Ganesha Elders Home" and Provided Lunch for them on 27 th Jan 2013 at Kanchanakuda in Thirukkovil DS Division

The 23 SLSR Troops, with the help of the Police Officers of the Pothuvil Police Station. Organized an Awareness Program to make the Students aware of Road Discipline, at Sinhapura Sinhala School in Pothuvil DS Division on 26th Jan 2013.

Conducted a Blood Donation Programme at Pothuvil Hospital by 632 BDE on 26th Jan 2013

Coinciding with the state ceremony held to celebrate the 65th Independence Day in the port city of Trincomalee, Task Force 3 of Security Forces (East) Coordinate Independence Celebrations at Vipulananda School Karthieve, Bakmitiyawa School, Methodist Tamil School Pothuvil and Thirukkovil Town with an aim to build up the Communal Harmony in the area. Hoisting of the National Flag, “Two Minutes Silence” in remembrance of fallen War Heroes and National anthem was sung at the Independence Celebrations with the participation of several Religious, Military and Civil Dignitaries.
