Under the direction & supervision of Commander Security Forces (East), Major General JSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, and according to the instructions of the General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division, Major General GPP Kulathilaka ndu, under the close supervision of Commander 232 Infantry Brigade, Col TKD Dharmasena RWP RSP, and the leadership of the Commanding Officer of the 4th Battalion the Gemunu Watch Lt Col SMGVK Bandara USP psc, the troops of the 4th Battalion the Gemunu Watch constructed a house worth around 2 million rupees for a low-income family at 10 th Milestone, Komathurei North.

Under the noble vision of His Excellency The President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, and as a part of the Clean Sri Lanka national program steps to improve education. One such step is upgrading schools to help students learn better and think more clearly. In this context, the “B” Company of the 4th Battalion the Gemunu Watch, under 232 infantry beigade located on the relevant land belongs to koraleipattu south DS division in Batticaloa district, officially handed over to the Department of Education for re-establishment of Morakotanchenai Ramakrishna Mission School. The official handing over ceremony took place at 0800 hrs on the 30th September 2025 in the said land premises.
