11 Infantry Division troops showing their concern for human welfare erected a new house for a needy family in Galdhanda, Welimada area with sponsorship provided by General Deshamanya J.E Denis Perera VSV ndc psc, one of the former Army Commander’s family, under the coordination of Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division. The new house was vested in the beneficiary on 15 April 2024 during a brief ceremony.

The 12th Battalion of Gajaba Regiment (GR) successfully completed its Battalion Training Course at the Army Training School in Madhuru Oya. The course was conducted from 14 February to 03 April 2024 and 9 Officers and 284 Other Ranks participated in the course.
