Brigadier EADK Edirisinghe of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES) who has been serving as Director Engineer Services at the Directorate of Engineer Services at Army Headquarters suddenly passed away on Sunday (24) evening after a brief illness. He was 52 years of age at the time of his untimely demise.

Col YKS Rangika psc ptsc relinquished the appointment of Centre Commandant – Regimental Centre, Corps of Engineer Services on 06 December 2023. The ceremonial formalities began with a guard turnout and the Parade followed by a group Photograph, Officers' address, and Tea at All Ranks Mess which was followed by a troop address. All ranks of the Regimental Centre - CES offered their gratitude and greetings to the outgoing Center Commandant on his departure.
