CENTRE COMMANDANT OF CORPS OF ENGINEER SERVICES VISITS 7(V) ENGINEER SERVICES REGIMENT

The Centre Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, Brigadier NWPSM Perera visited the 7 (V) Engineer Services Regiment, Athurugiriya on 06 February 2024.

The Centre Commandant, after being received by the Commanding Officer, 7 (V) ESR Maj WC Perera USP CES was accorded with a Guard Turnout at the entrance.

In-line with the programme, Centre Commandant planted Olive sapling in the premises and posed for a group photograph with officers of the unit to mark his visit.

There after the Centre Commandant inspected administrative matters of the unit and addressed officers and administrative staff of 7 (V) ESR regarding the administrative matters in the unit.

He concluded his visit by signing the Visitors' Book, a tradition solidifying his visit and the regiment's history. This significant event highlighted the regiment's professionalism, dedication, and vital role in the Sri Lankan military, further strengthening the bonds within the unit.

Staff Officers of the Regimental Headquarters of Corps of Engineer Services participated the visit.
