The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc, the Director Engineer Services of the Directorate of Engineer Services, who officially opened the facility.

The Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Engineer Services organized a timely and vital guest lecture on drug prevention on December 26, 2024.This lecture was part of a series of awareness programs conducted across the Engineer Services Regiments to educate soldiers and officers about the dangers of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free lifestyle within the military which was initiate as per the concept of Maj Gen KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc the Colonel Commandant, CES and with the supervision of Brig NWPSM Perera, the Centre Commandant, CES reflecting the commitment of the leadership to safeguard the well-being of their personnel.

As part of the celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES), Inter-Regiment Volleyball Tournament was held at the Regimental Headquarters Volley ball court in Panagoda. The tournament, which spanned three days from 22nd December to 24th December, brought together a spirited competition among fourteen teams representing regiments of the Corps.

As the Corps of Engineer Services celebrated its remarkable 75 years of service to the nation, Inter-Regiment Cricket Tournament took place at the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Playground on 18th, 19 th, 20 th and 21 st December. The cricket tournament showcased the values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience that the Corps embodies. 18 teams representing All the Engineer Services Regiments and other three establishments along with Directorate of Engineer Services team and Regimental Headquarters team compete together for the champion trophy.

The 13th Annual Green Building Awards Ceremony of the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka was held on December 19, 2024, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) . In a remarkable achievement, 14 officers from the CES were awarded certificates for successful completion of the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka’s (GBCSL) Associate Professional Training Program and officially enlisting them as Associate Professionals of the GBCSL.
