The event began with a meaningful speech to promote the welfare of the retired Officers and ORs as per the direction of the Commander of the SL Army and the concept of Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineer Services Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc.

A lecture series initiated to enhance the knowledge of officers of CES would typically aim to provide professional development and expertise in various areas related to engineering and other specific roles within the CES and Sri Lanka Army as per the instructions and guidance of the Colonel Commandant Corps of Engineer Services and Director General Financial Management of Sri Lanka Army Maj Gen Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc. These lecture series will cover a wide range of topics and will be delivered by subject matter experts, senior officers, or external professionals.

Corps of Engineer Services in collaboration with Mechanized Infantry Regiment for ‘Vap Poya Day’ religious activities at the Army Bodhirajaramaya Temple, Panagoda under the guidance of Army Buddhist Association on 28 October 2023. Religious activities commenced with observing Sil in the morning and subsequently Dharmadeshana and Almsgiving were included to cover entire day.
