  • SEVA VANITHA UNIT OF 5 ESR LEAD LIFE-SAVING BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN

    In line with Seva Vanitha Programme, 5th Engineer Services Regiment organized blood donation campaign on 23rd December 2025.The campaign was conducted under the supervision and guidance of overlooking commanding Officer Maj BHD Sandaruwan Lsc CES with the assistant of the staff of Kilinochchi and Mulativu hospitals. All the Officers and soldiers showed their interest on donating blood and it demonstrate their commitment to lifesaver activities.

    In celebration of their Corps Day, Regimental Head Quarters of Corps of Engineer Services organized a Blood Donation Campaign on 24 December 2025 at their Regimental Head Quarters’ premises. This noble initiative was aimed at supporting the National Blood Transfusion Service and contributing to the healthcare needs of the country.

  • CES MARKS ITS PRESENCE WITH IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE AT ARMY INTER-REGIMENT COMBAT RIFLE SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2025

    Corps of Engineer Service’s team was excelled their colours at the Army Inter-Regiment Combat Rifle Shooting Championship 2025 out of 37 teams representing 23 Regiments, comprising 405 shooters, competed in the Open and Novice categories. Certificate and trophy awarding ceremony of the was held at the Sino–Lanka Friendship Auditorium of the Sri Lanka Military Academy on 22 December 2025. Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Brigadier M S D Perera USP ptsc, Centre Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services, also conveyed his congratulations and best wishes, commending for their exemplary performance.

  • THE CORPORAL CLUB CELEBRATES ITS LEGACY OF 76 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

    In accordance with the 76th Anniversary celebration of the Corps of Engineer Services, the Corporals' Club of CES hosted a dinner night to commemorate this significant milestone of the Corps on 19 December 2025 at Regimental Headquarters of the Corps of Engineer Services. The event, which brought together members of the Corps, Senior Officers, Officers and NCOs, long-standing legacy and its continued commitment to excellence of the Corps.

  • CES CONDUCTS ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCES TO INVOKE BLESSINGS ON ALL CORPS MEMBERS

    In conjunction with the 76th Anniversary of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES), a solemn Islamic religious function was organized to pay tribute to Corps members, honor the flags, and remember the fallen war heroes. The event took place on 18 December 2025 at Jummah Masjid, Hanwella.

  • CES CONDUCTS HINDU RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCES TO INVOKE BLESSINGS ON ALL CORPS MEMBERS

The Hindu religious observance took place at Mayurapathi Sri Bhadrakali Amman Kovil, Wellawatte, on 16 December 2025.

  • MAJ TPA PERIS LSC CES EXCELS AT LOGISTICS STAFF COURSE NO. 11

    Maj TPA Peris Lsc CES secured both the First in Order of Merit and Best Logistics Planner awards at the Logistics Staff Course No. 11 conducted at the Army School of Logistics, Sri Lanka. He received the awards from the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, at the Graduation Ceremony held at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) Auditorium on 11 December 2025.
