The 17th Anniversary of the 10(V) Engineering Services Regiment was celebrated with dignity on 02 April 2026.
In conjunction with the anniversary day, a merit-blessing ceremony was held at the Kiriwehera Sacred Precincts on 27 March 2026 to invoke blessings upon the unit. Subsequently, on 31 March 2026, a cleaning project was carried out at the Sarana Elders’ Home in Ambalantota, and a lunch alms giving was provided.
Thereafter, on 02 April 2026, the Unit Commanding Officer, Major SANC Suwandaratna CES Senior Officer was honored with a Guard turnout. Following the planting of a mango sapling within the camp premises by the Commanding Officer, a volleyball tournament and a tug-of-war competition were conducted to foster camaraderie and mutual harmony among all ranks. Additionally, musical chairs and a fancy dress competition were held for recreational purposes.
Subsequently, after the official all rank lunch, the Commanding Officer addressed all ranks.
