An initiative on providing financial assistance and essentials to 7 children of other ranks who have passed the Grade 5 scholarship examination in 2025 and to 14 other ranks who got affected by Cyclone Ditwah was conducted by the Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Engineer Services under the guidance of the President Mrs Aruni Chandrasekara on 15 March 2026 at 9(V) Engineer Services Regiment with the presence of Seva Vanitha Branch members.
The programme focuses on enhancing the well-being of military families through financial assistance, educational; encouragement and social support.
