The Director Engineer Services of the Directorate of Engineer Services of the Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier YKS Rangika, psc, ptsc, conducted a visit to the 82 Engineer Services Squadron, Bulnewa, on 08 February 2025.
Upon arrival, the Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel SBTP Silva CES and was accorded a Drive Pass Salute. Following the formalities, the Director Engineer Services witnessed a Power Point presentation on the projects and the suppression of the 15 (V) Engineer Services Regiment.
To commemorate his visit, Brigadier YKS Rangika psc ptsc posed for a group photograph, and a mango sapling was planted at the camp premises. Additionally, the museum constructed to showcase the history and highlights of the 15 (V) ESR was ceremonially opened by the Director Engineer Services. During the camp inspection, Visiting Senior Officers also interacted with the soldiers.
The Colonel Engineer Services (Design & Planning), Colonel NN Abeysekara, and Staff Officers from the Directorate of Engineer Services participated in the visit.
