The first Hash Run of the War College was successfully held on 27 February 2022 by strictly adhering to COVID 19 health protocols. The aim of the Hash Run is to promote comradery and organising capabilities of the Student Officers of Senior Command Course 4 and Junior Command Course 23.

The Junior Command Course 23 dominated the Army War College Cricket Tournament of the 1st Trimester of 2022 held on 29 January 2022. Team B of Junior Command Course 23 Captained by Major Danushka Edirisinghe became the champions of the tournament and team A of Junior Command Course 23 led by Major Priyankara Silva became the runners up.
