JUNIOR COMMAND COURSE PLAYERS CLINCHES FRIENDLY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Junior Command Course team became the champions of the Army War College (AWC) Friendly Basketball Tournament beating the combined faculty team of the AWC led by the Commandant, during the heating final encounter played at the college Basketball Courts on Tuesday, 23 January 2024.

All the matches of the tournament where talented basketball players of faculty and permanent Staff as well as the Senior Command Course, Junior Command Course and Junior Staff Course comprising two foreign players who are from India and Maldives stimulated all basketball enthusiasts at a large gathering of spectators.

The tournament was organized by the Defence Studies Branch of AWC under the guidance of the Commandant in view of breaking the monotony of the courses whilst enhancing the sporting skills of the Student Officers and building the comradeship among the Officers.
