REFRESHER COURSE FOR DIRECTING STAFF OF ARMY WAR COLLEGE PROSPERS TO ACHIEVE ITS OBJECTIVES

The refresher course for the Directing Staff of the Army War College (AWC) aimed to enrich the subject knowledge of the Directing Staff in terms of refreshing and sharing expertise at the outset of starting the proceedings of the first trimester of 2024. As a capsule for refreshing knowledge, the two-day Directing Staff enrichment program held from 14 – 15 December 2023. It is a practice of the Army War College, to discuss and revitalize the knowledge of directing staff before the commencement of each trimester.

Major General UKDDP Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc , the Commandant of AWC delivered the Opening Address and marked the commencement of the Refresher Course where he encouraged all the members of the directing staff and the academic wing to share their expertise and experiences that would intern immensely benefit the student officers of the Senior Command Course, Junior Command Course and Junior Staff Course. The Deputy Commandant, Chief Instructor, Senior Instructors, all faculty members, and permanent staff attended the occasion of the commencement held at the Defense Studies Branch of the AWC.

All members of Directing Staff and the members of the Academic Wing went on the training programme that concluded successfully enriching knowledge of participants.
