Maj MMW Rupasinghe assumed duties as the Commanding Officer of the 6th Regiment, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 6 February 2017. Newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by the all officers of the Unit.

The newly constructed officers mess at School of Military Police was declared open by the Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Brigadier V N Coswatte RSP with the participation of council members, COs, other offrs and NCOs of SLCMP on 14th January 2017. It has constructed within a period of 04 months and 20 days by using self created funds, local resources and technical expertise and the project has initiated by the Commandant and all staff of SMP.

Newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by the all officers of the Unit. A Guard Turnout and a parade were held in honour of the new Commanding Officer of 4 SLCMP.

Newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by the all officers of the Unit. A Guard Turnout and a parade were held in honour of the new Commanding Officer of 1 SLCMP.
