18th anniversary of School of Military Police

School of Military Police is the premier training establishment for train Provost Officers and Other Rankers in Sri Lanka Army. School of Military Police commemorated its 18th anniversary and the school day on 13thAugust 2018.
School day ceremony is the climax of a serious of commemorative anniversary ceremonies troop got under were beginning the 11thAugust 2018.
Significant addition to the school day event was organizing "Buddha Wandana" religious event on 11th August to memory of fallen war heroes.
A guard turnout in accordance with Military formalities greeted the Chief Guest Lt Col HMSI Senarath at the entrance to the school.
At the commencement of the ceremony commandant participated to the tree planting. Next event as the Commandant rose to his feet with his customary speech to All Rank of School of Military Police. After that Commandant attended an All Rank lunch as ceremonies to end.
