Brig H Walgama (Retd) USP promoted to the rank on 28 th January 2019. After completing 55 years of service he has been retired from the Army on 29th January 2019. He has rendered a remarkable service of 33 years to the Sri Lanka Army by holding various key appointments.

The 11th Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army Brig LPR Premalal USP visit to the 1 SLCMP unit on 21 January 2019. The Commanding Officer Lt Col IR Hanthanearachchi and All Officers warmly welcomed the newly appointed Provost Marshal and Commanding Officer briefed Provost deployment and duties of 1 SLCMP at his Office. The Provost Marshal addressed the troops of 1 SLCMP at the RHQ SLCMP Cpls’ Club and the occasion terminated with the All Ranks tea which had interaction with the all Officers and NCOs who gathered for the occasion.

The 11th Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army Brig LPR Premalal USP marked his first visit to the SLCMP units by paying a visit to the Special Investigation Unit on 16 January 2019. The Commanding Officer Col ACA de Zoysa USP Lsc and All officers warmly welcomed the newly appointed Provost Marshal. Commanding Officer briefed the present operational background of the SIU at his Office. The Provost Marshal addressed the troops of SIU at the RHQ SLCMP Cpls’ Club and the occasion terminated with a All Ranks Tea.
