The Commander of the FMA (KLN) and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Maj Gen DKGD Sirisena USP made his official visit on 20 February 2019 in the 2nd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police which is established at Giritale.
Having inspected the Guard Turnout awarded by the troops of the respective unit, Colonel Commandant then declared open the newly built Main Entrance, Guard Turnout Base, MT Section, WOs' and Sgts' Mess Kitchen and Bathroom complex, Cpls’ Club and Unveiling of Samadhi Buddha Statue on the special invitation of the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel EMIEkanayake. After that, the Colonel Commandant was addressed the all ranks and attend to the tea party and all Rank Lunch.
