  • HAIR DRESSING AND BEAUTICIAN COURSE – FIRST COURSE

    The Hair Dressing & Beautician course conducted at RHQ SLCMP from 27th April 2019 to 20th June 2019 as per the concept & direction of the Commander Headquarters Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General D K G D Sirisena USP.

  • NEW GYMNASIUM OF "ජව ජනන පියස" AND BADMINTON COURT TO 3 SLCMP

    Newly constructed Gymnasium "ජව ජනන පියස" declared open at 3 SLCMP by the Commander Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of corps of Military Police Major General DKGD Sirisena USP at 1006 hrs on 17th June 2019 with the invitation of the 3 SLCMP Commanding Officer Lt Col MMMP Mahesh Kumara. Col Comdt addressed the troops at the Gymnasium and emphasized the importance of the Gymnasium and to utilize it with care.
    Also, Col Comdt, together with Commanding Officer opened the Indoor Badminton Court at the gymnasium where an exhibition match was played by the SL Army and SLCMP badminton players.
    Thereafter Col Comdt, Officers and Ors follows the Army Commander Launches "Ranaviru Haritha Arana" Tree Planting Drive to Support Planted the 100 Coconut plants in the camp area and Col Comdt visited the other constructions sites of Renovation Officer Mess and Cpls' Club.

  • Declared open the Chaiththaya

    WO 1 KMGM Udayabandara is Provost Member belongs to the batch No 43. He has faced an unacceptable situation his life by the demise of his child due to an illness. To commemorate his child he had a vision of constructing a "Chaithya" in Boralankada Sri Vijayarama historical temple. He has accomplished his aim successfully. With the invitation of the Warrant Officer, Clergies and Buddhist Community of the area, Commander Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of Military Police Major General Gamini Sirisena declared open the Chaiththaya. Provost Marshal, Senior Officers, Junior Officers, Other Rankers and Villagers attended the event.

  • CELEBRATION OF THE 22ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE SPECIAL INVESTIGATION UNIT - SLCMP

    Special investigation Unit (SIU) of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) marked its’ 22nd anniversary on Friday (07) June 2019. The celebration commenced on Monday (03) with the religious blessings and receiving of the honor of ceremonial formalities by the Commanding Officer Col ACA de Zoysa USP Lsc held on Friday (07including guard turnout and the ceremonial parade followed by the troop address and all ranks tea party.

  • SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE PROUDLY CELEBRATED 29TH REGIMENTAL DAY ANNIVERSARY AT REGIMENTAL CENTRE, SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE - POLHENGODA

    The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police celebrated 29th Regimental Anniversary on 30 May 2019 at the Regimental Centre, Polhengoda. To mark the Regimental Day, Guard turn out followed by a guard of honour was accorded to the Colonel Commandant Major General DKGD Sirisena USP. Afterwards the newly constructed WOs and Sgt accommodations building was declared open by Colonel Commandant.

  • HAIR CUTTING AND BEAUTY CULTURE COURSE

    The Hair Cutting and Beauty Culture course stated at RHQ SLCMP - Polhengoda on 2019 April 27 for duration of 35 days and 13 X NCOs attended to the course. Aim of this course is to develop skills of NCOs of SLCMP and implement. The Colonel commandant & Centre Commandant suggested to conduct this course annually. The centre commandant Colonel AL Illangakoon did the opening address.

  • BOODHI POOJA FOR 29TH REGIMENTAL DAY ANNIVERSARY

    Regimental Headquarters was established on 19 April 1990. Series of events including War Heroes Remembrance programme, Pirith and Alms Giving, Boodhi Pooja and Parade has been lined up, to mark its 29th Anniversary.

  • "ALUTH AVURUDU" ALL RANKS TEA

    Officers and Soldiers of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police welcomed the Sinhala and Hindu New year traditionally. All Ranks Tea was jointly organized by the Regimental Headquarters, 1st Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and Special Investigation Unit on 18 April 2019. Commander - HQ Log Command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General DKGD Sirisena USP, graced the event.
