PROVOST MARSHAL UNDERTAKES FORMAL VISIT TO THE 3 SLCMP

The Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Clifford De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc visited the 3^rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police - Galkulama on 24^th April 2023. This was his maiden visit to the Regiment after assuming duties as the Provost Marshal.

Major MDSUK Weerasinghe USP psc, the Commanding Officer warmly welcomed Major General Clifford De Zoysa on arrival. After that, a group photograph was taken to mark his official visit which was followed by planting a sapling. Later the Provost Marshal addressed the troops elaborating his intent on performing Military Police duties in a professional way. After the formalities, he visited several institutions of the camp to inspect the progress. Then the Commanding Officer conducted a comprehensive briefing on the operational status of the unit where the Provost Marshal shared his views with all Officers who perform duties under the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. Before concluding the day’s itinerary, the Provost Marshal left a couple of thoughts and compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
