Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu witnessed the finals as the Chief Guest. The Tournament got underway from 22 June 2022 to 30 June 2022 with the participants of seven teams.

The 96th Commissioning Ceremony of the Sri Lanka Military Academy was held triumphantly on 18th and 19th December 2021 with the presence of the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapaksha. Out of 34 Lady Officer Cadets; 11 Lady Officer Cadets from Regular Lady Officer Cadet Intake 89(B), 18 (A) and volunteer Lady Intake 17 were graduated to render their services to the Sri Lanka Army and the country by joining Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps.
