    The Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps bid farewell to the former General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Major General S Katurimudali RSP ndc psc on 20 October 2024, who retired after serving more than 35 years in the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army. Ceremony was held in its customary way at Regimental Centre, Borella.

It was conducted with the Direction and Guidance of Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division and the supervision of Brigadier PMS Karunaratne psc, the Commandant the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps in order to enhance the general standard of regimentation, professionalism, development and cohesiveness of SLAWC Officers.
