The newly constructed welfare shop 'Olive Cafe' was declared open by the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Major General RADP Ranawaka RWP RSP USP ndc on 22 September 2022 during a simple ceremony in Regimental Headquarters-SLAWC.
The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps on the invitation of the Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps unveiled the plaque and warmed the new welfare shop.
Subsequently, day’s programme followed with a tea party. Three women soldiers who shown distinctively in the field of Netball and who brought fame to the country by participating for Asian Netball Championship-2022 invited for the tea party .Those international achievers are,
