  • THE BRICKS MAKING PROJECT OF 3(V) SRI LANKA ARMY WOMEN’S CORPS

    3(v) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps has begun a bricks making project. It is conducting in the unit under the full supervision of the Commanding Officer of 3(V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Lieutenant colonel Sapumal Amunugama.

    The project is implemented under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and Master General Ordnance (MGO) Major General Prasanna Chandrasekere and the Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Brigadier Janaka Rathnayaka.

  • THE REVISION PROGRAMME OF THE PROMOTION EXAMINATIONS FOR SLAWC OFFICERS

    A revision programme is conducting for the SLAWC officers who are going to appear for the Lieutenant to Captain and Captain to Major promotion examinations which is scheduled to be held in near future. All arrangements for the programme was facilitated by Brigadier Janaka Rathnayaka, The Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps on the guidelines given by Major General Prasanna Chandrasekere, Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and Master General Ordnance (MGO). The current affairs lectures were conducted by Brig Manjula Karunarathne, the Director of the Directorate of Phychological Operations, and Brig Chandana Wickramasinghe, The Director of the Directorate of Media and SL Army media spokesman. More than 25 lady officers are participated for the lectures.

  • DISTRIBUTION OF DRY & FRESH RATION PACKS - ORGANIZED BY 7TH BATTALION OF SRI LANKA ARMY WOMANS CORP

    All officers and other rankers of 7th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Womens Corps with the direction of the Commanding Officer Maj JRPK Galhena SLAWC distributed packs of dry & fresh rations and special packs for expecting mothers of 49 poverty stricken families due to the prevailing sitation of the country because of the deadly pandemic covid 19.
