Taking over the duties of Commanding Officer, 3 (V) Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps.

Lt Col MAANR Perera RWP RSP CR (O/64607) assumed duties as 16th Commanding Officer of 3 (V) battalion of Sri Lanka army women’s corps at Battalion Headquarter, Nandikadal , Mullaitivu  on 12 July 2021.

The event commenced with reviewing the Guard Turnout.  LT Col Ruwantha Perera placed his signature on a formal document after a brief religious observance.

The day’s event itinerary included planting of a mango sapling, troop address and all rank tea. The event was organized strictly adherence with the health guidelines to prevent the Covid -19 pandemic.
