  • Construction of the Signal Holiday Bungalow Diyathalawa

    With the patronage of Colonel Commandant, new holiday bungalow is now under construction at Diyathalawa. After finishing of the construction, Offrs and ORs of the Corps of the Signals will be facilitated with the accommodation with eye catching scenery of the Sri Lanka Military Academy$s (SLMA) golf course. Constructions are directly under the supervision of Colonel Commandant and hopefully it will be declared open in near future.

  • HISTORICAL OPENING OF MERCURY HOUSE AT DIYATALAWA

    The main Holiday Bungalow of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps "Mercury House" was declared open by Major General E P De Z Abeysekera USP, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, Master General Ordnance and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals at the auspicious time of 0701 hours on 21st June 2013. Major General (Retd) C J Abeyratne VSV USP, Brigadier (Retd) KJN Senaweera RSP USP Ldmc and many other senior officers of the Corps of Signals graced this occasion.

  • SLSC New Year Festival Held on Grand Scale

    Bak Maha Ulela 2013 (New Year Festival) organized by Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) and the Seva Vanitha Unit was held on Sunday 05 May 2013 amidst a gathering of Seva Vanitha members, SLSC Senior Officers, Disabled War Heroes, members of the corps with their families.

    Major General E.P de Z Abeysekera, Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps attended the occasion as the Chief Guest at the invitation of SLSC Seva Vanitha Unit.

  • Scholarship Donation by Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch

    Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch donated a educational scholarship to a child of a fallen war hero on 28th July 2013 at the Officers' Mess of AHQ at a ceremony organized by Signal Seva Vanitha Branch.

    The scholarship was donated to a 14 years old son of S/277908 L/Cpl Bandara DMG (6SLSC) who passed away in last month due to battle injuries suffered 15 years ago.

  • Colonel Commandant Inaugurates newly build Officers Mess and the Warrant Officers and Sargents Mess at 5th Regiment SLSC.

    Major General EP De Z Abeysekera USP, The Deputy Chief of Staff and the Colonel Commandant of SLSC declared open the newly build Officers Mess & Warrant Officer and Sargents Mess during the battalion visit held on 01st October 2013 at 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps (Rft) located at Suthanthirapuram. The Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel IHMRK Herath psc was also present at the occasion.

  • Colonel Commandant SLSC declared opened the main Entrance and the Corporals' Club & Men's Mess of 9th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps

    During a formal visit and to 9th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps, Major General EP De Z Abeysekera USP, The Deputy Chief of Staff and the Colonel Commandant of SLSC declared open the unit Main Entrance and the Corporals$ Club and Men's Mess during his visit on 02nd October 2013 at Killinochchi. The Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel AP Wickramasekara pscwas also present at the occasion.

  • HISTORICAL WINING BY SIGNALLERS IN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2017

    Sri Lanka Signal Corps marked a historical success by becoming both Men and Women Champions at the end of the first ever Inter Regiment and Injured War Heroes Chess Championship of the Sri Lanka Army.

  • 5 SLSC INAUGURATED NEW REGIMENT HEADQUARTERS BUILDING

    5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps inaugurated their newly constructed Regiment Headquarters building at a ceremonial opening held on 03 January 2018 at the camp premises in Menerigama, PADUKKA. This special occasion was organized in line with the 24th Anniversary Celebrations of the unit that fall on 2nd January 1994.

  • SIGNAL OFFICERS ADVENTURE TRAINING 2017 WAS HELD FRUITFUL

  • 1 SLSC COMPLETES 1st BATTALION TRAINING

    1st Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps successfully completed the 1st Battalion Training Course on 27th December 2017 held at the Battalion Training School of 68 Division in Putthukudiruppu, MULLAITHIVU.
