Scholarship Donation by Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch

Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch donated a educational scholarship to a child of a fallen war hero on 28^th July 2013 at the Officers' Mess of AHQ at a ceremony organized by Signal Seva Vanitha Branch.

The scholarship was donated to a 14 years old son of S/277908 L/Cpl Bandara DMG (6SLSC) who passed away in last month due to battle injuries suffered 15 years ago.

Under the guidance of Mrs Sandamali Abeysekera, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch gave much needed assistance to his family during the funeral and the child will reserved Rs 1500/= per month as an educational scholarship until he sit for the GCE (O/L).
