According to the concept of the Commander of the Army Leiutenant General NUMMW Senanayake RWP RSP VSV USP USACGSC and the direction of the Major General WRP De Silva USP ndu IG the Commander of the Security Forces (Central), A lecture was conducted to educate Army personnel in all formations under the Security Force Headquarters - Central on the topic of "Admission of grade one students to government schools” on Tuesday (08) January at the auditorium of Volunteer Force Training School (VFTS) in Diyatalawa. A total of 07 Officers and 106 Other Ranks were participated for the lecture, Major AHMT Gunarathne RSP, Staff Officer II (Admin), Directorate of Army Welfare delivered the lecture. followed by question and answer session.

The mentioned area is located within the responsible area of Security Forces (Central) and the troops of 121 Brigade controlled the fire on the directions of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General WRP De Silva USP ndu IG.

According to the instructions of Major Genaral WRP De Silva USP ndu IG the Commander Security Forces (Central) Brigadier RMPJ Rathnayake RWP RSP USP the Brigadier General Staff to Security Forces Headquarters (Central) participated the book donation campaign as the chief guest in Erabedda Vidyalaya Keppetipola for 3 selected schools in Bandarawela District, named Erabedda Vidyalaya, Rahupola Vidyalaya, Balatota Ella Vidyalaya. 200 students of lowest income families who require the basic needs in receiving education were donated school accessories on 05 January 2019.

Musical evening and Entertaining Programme was held to all staff of 11 division and their family members on 23 December 2018. It was held according to the concept of Major General TJ Nanayakkara RWP USP ndu and the purpose to hold this event to develop the cooperation and welfare among troops and the civil staff. Following that the dinner was arranged at the division premices. Along with that all officers, other ranks and civil staff were join the excursion to Sri Paada with their families on 24 December 2018. Dinner was arranged at the 19 SLNG for all participants.
