Major General D K S K Dolage USP nps psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, commended the remarkable achievements of Sappers who excelled in both local and international arenas.
Sapper D D P Jinadari of the 9 Field Engineer Regiment secured First in Order of Merit in the Physical Training Instructor Course No. 133 held at the Army Physical Training School – Panagoda, showcasing exceptional dedication and professional competence.
Meanwhile, Sapper B P N Cooray of the 4(V) Engineer Regiment proudly represented the Sri Lanka Army at the 1st CISM Military Muay Thai Championship 2025 held in Thailand, where she clinched a Bronze Medal, bringing honour and recognition to the Corps and the Army.
The Colonel Commandant extended his heartfelt congratulations to both Sappers for their outstanding performances, which brought great pride to the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and further strengthened its reputation for excellence.
