COLONEL COMMANDANT CONDUCTS INSPECTION OF ONGOING CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AT REGIMENTAL CENTRE SLE

Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers conducted a comprehensive inspection of ongoing development projects at the Regimental Centre of the Sri Lanka Engineers on Wednesday, 16th October 2024.

The inspection included a meticulous review of newly acquired furniture and office appliances aimed at enhancing operational efficiency for the regimental staff. In addition, Major General Lanka Amarapala evaluated key renovation projects, including the upgrade of the ORs' Mess Kitchen, improvements to ORs' billet areas, and the near-completion of the ORs' toilet complex.

During his visit, the Colonel Commandant emphasized the importance of adhering to established timelines and maintaining the highest standards of quality. He urged the project teams to sustain momentum to ensure timely completion of all initiatives.

Recognizing the dedication and hard work of the workforce, Major General Lanka Amarapala commended their efforts, underscoring their vital role in the successful execution of these projects. He noted that these infrastructure improvements will significantly enhance the camp’s capacity to meet the evolving needs of the Regimental Centre of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
