Under the inclusive framework of recognizing and appreciating outstanding performances in military courses, Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, praised a Sapper Officer for an exemplary achievement from the Advance Physical Training Instructor Course.
On Wednesday, 2nd October 2024, at the Regimental Centre of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Second Lieutenant W M D Malindi SLE of the 9 Field Engineer Regiment was awarded with a cash prize from the Colonel Commandant, for securing 1st place in the Order of Merit and her exceptional performancesin the Advanced Physical Training Instructor Course No. 17 conducted at the Army Physical Training School, Panagoda.
The recognition session underscored the Corps' dedication to cultivating a culture of excellence, with a focus on acknowledging and rewarding Officers and Other Ranks for their remarkable achievements. Further, this initiative strengthens morale and motivates officers to strive for excellence in their respective fields, thereby enhancing the overall operational effectiveness of the Corps.
